“Collaboration for Capacity Building and Knowledge Management on Climate Change.”
On Monday 13 September 2021 at 2:00 – 3:00 P.M. via Facebook live.
According to the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) or TGO, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, it is an agency established under the vision, “to be an organization that supports and drives the reduction of greenhouse gases for Thailand towards a low-carbon social economy”
In this regard, TGO is scheduled to held a virtual launching event of “TGO Climate Action Academy” (CAA) with the mission to raise awareness of climate change and the Paris Agreement, develop capacity and provide advice on reducing greenhouse gas leading to concrete actions, encouraging all sectors to participate in reducing greenhouse gas emissions, reducing global warming, and creating and fostering a knowledge network on greenhouse gas management towards a low-carbon society.
In addition, at the event, there will be a signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Collaboration on “Climate Change Capacity Building and Knowledge Management” between leading agencies in Thailand, including the Institute of Human Resource Development on Natural Resources and Environment, under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, FTI Academy of the Federation of Thai Industries and the Engineering Institute of Thailand under H.M. The King’s Patronage together with the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization)
On the day, Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) is also honored by the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, Mr. Varawut Silpa-archa, to express his delight on the launching of the TGO Climate Action Academy and the signing ceremony.
