MONRE by TGO together with Department of Local Administration Global Environment Fund and the United Nations Development Program in Thailand organized the seminar on Sustainable & Livable Low-carbon Cities.

 

During 21-22 June 2021, MONRE by TGO together with Department of Local Administration Global Environment Fund and the United Nations Development Program in Thailand organized the seminar on Sustainable & Livable Low-carbon Cities. via online.
The objective of the seminar was to present the results of Low-carbon Cities Development Projects, to exchange knowledge with Local Governments, creating awareness to Local Government as well as Government agencies, private sector, youth, as well as general public to enhance knowledge and awareness of the importance of climate change and towards Low-carbon Cities.

 

H.E. Mr. Varawut Silpa-archa, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, Mr.Renaud Meyer Resident Representative of UNDP, Thailand, Mr.Prayoon Rattanasene Director-General of the Department of Local Government Promotion and . Mr. Kiatchai Maitriwong, Executive Director of TGO delivered an opening speech for the seminar.

There were more 40 experts shared their experiences in the implementation of Sustainable & Livable Low-carbon Cities.
There were representatives from Local Government, Government agencies, private sector, youth, as well as general public joint the seminar via Zoom, Live streaming, Page Facebook.
