TGO NEWS – MoC at Surat Thani
Surat Thani : on 19 August 2020, Mr. Suttipong Klaiudom, Deputy Governor of Surat Thani, Mr. Poonsak Sophonpatumrak, Sheriff of Koh Pha Ngan delivered an opening speech for the Signing Ceremony of the Memorandum of Cooperation had delivered household organic waste disposal bin, according to the project “Achieving Low Carbon Growth in Cities through Sustainable Urban Systems” at Pha Ngan, Surat Thani.
The Memorandum of Cooperation were signed by Mr. Kiatchai Maitriwong, Executive Director of Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization or TGO, Mr. Renaud Meyer, Representative form United Nations Development Programme or UNDP, Mrs. SirikornSrinuan, Baan Tai Municipality Clerk, Mr.Tawich Somwang, President of Haardrin Business Association and Mr. Padungsak Unontakarn, Bright Management Consulting were attended the Ceremony as well. The objective of the Memorandum of Cooperation in order to bring the household waste management implementation as well as provide a training and field trip for exchanging and sharing on household waste management to public sector.
